A Beautiful Thank You Note to Sharon
Sharon would like to share this thank you note with the blanketeers
"Dear Sharon
I wanted to thank you for the beautiful quilt you made for our stay in Seattle Children's Hospital. We have a little girl named LenaAnne and she is just over 5 weeks old. A little over 2 weeks ago she came down with a high fever and we spent a week in Children's Hospital with her. I saw the quilt and told the nurse how beautiful it was and she said it was a gift. I was really honored and grateful for the personal touch. Thank yo for touching lives of those you've never met. And, Lena is doing better now and her infection has cleared! With gratitude, Kathleen & Scott and Lena"
Special Thank you from a Grateful Family
Here is a note sent out from a Chapter Coordinator in Texas.
This sweet note was dropped off at a local quilt shop and a $150 gift card was included in the card.
To the blanketeers -
When our son was born, he came early and had to stay in the NICU. One night when we were sitting with him in his room scared, one of the nurses brought us a blanket. It was so comforting to know that someone out there wanted to make sure we knew that we weren't alone. In honor of our son's first birthday, please accept this donation. Hopefully, we can help get a few more blankets wrapped around the kids and families that need them. Thank you for all you do and for being so kind to strangers. The world needs more people like you!
Hugs,

I am quite sure that this family speaks for many when they say that a handmade blanket from a perfect stranger in their darkest hours is such a warm comfort and you all are such a blessing with your gifts of love and hugs for children that are so scared. Thank you so much for your dedication and devotions to Project Linus. I look forward to seeing you Sunday the 22nd and thanking you again in person for all that you do.
I delivered 70 more blankets to Seattle Children’s Hospital today so I will have room to deliver more.
Hugs and stitches,
Phyllis
